Department of Zoology, NSS College Ottapalam

Department of Zoology was established in 1961 offering Pre-degree programme in Biology stream, later in 1977, the department started to offer 3-year B.Sc. Zoology programme in Zoology, with Botany and Chemistry as complementary courses. Since 2024-25 academic year, as per NEP 2020 and CUFYUGP, department offers Four year B.Sc. Zoology Honours Programme, with specialisation in Entomology. The department also offers MDCs and Minor Courses in General Zoology.
